A page to gather together interesting music and artists from Stoke-on-Trent.

The Stoke scene is kinda split between the established club brands that have existed for a couple of decades, the hardcore/old school scene which has been around for longer and a parade of little promoters and aspiring artists/dj’s.

I’m interested in the underground, which nationally would be anything apart from trance, EDM and commercial house, however, locally its is a shapeshifting concept as culturally, Stoke tends to move a little slower than the likes of the Manchester scene or wherever. I’m not playing Stoke down, but you have to factor that in.

That makes it harder for underground music to flourish in Stoke so it is well worth making the effort to highlight some artists that do.

I suppose then that this is a historical artefact.
